until very recently this ring was in such bad shape: split, bent shank, missing side stones — and it had found its way into a pile of jewelry destined to be scrapped. And, you already know the rest of the story includes a recent trip to the jeweler to be repaired and stones replaced with natural turquoise cabochons cut to fit the existing settings. truly life would be easier if there wasn't the desire to rehab old jewelry, but it might not have as much delight and surprise.
now this piece is a wearable poem about reinvention, failing forward, and celebrating our missteps
